🏀 Congratulations to all of our teams on a great regular season! Thank you for your hard work, sportsmanship, and dedication throughout the season. We hope everyone had as much fun playing as we did hosting another great year of Reading Blacktop Basketball!


The regular season has officially come to an end, and now it's time for PLAYOFFS!

🏆 Congratulations to the Top 8 teams in each age division for earning a spot in the playoffs!


The final regular season results, standings, and playoff brackets have all been updated on the website.


⚠️ Reminder: All players must be in full uniform to participate. This includes:

  • Team T-shirt
  • Plain black shorts

📅 Playoffs begin Monday, July 20th.

Please continue to check the website regularly for schedules, bracket updates, weather announcements, and any other important information.

ABOUT US

 The Blacktop Basketball Summer League is a non-profit athletic organization designed to provide young athletes ages 7-16 with a safe place to develop and display their basketball skills and talents. 


The Blacktop Basketball Summer League emphasizes the importance of education, sportsmanship, and teamwork. As a result, the league maintains positive relations with city managers, city schools, community businesses, and nearby neighborhoods.  Our League has the privilege of uniting culturally diverse children with the goal of teamwork, respect, unity and equality (T.R.U.E.). This helps to instill in our youth the importance of fair play, hard work, and racial equality.  


The players gain experience and learn the importance of strong competition through tournament play. This experience will enhance their playing ability and prepare them for higher levels of competition. 

IMPORTANT DATES

First Day of the season is Wednesday, June 10th (this only for age groups 7-9 & 10-11).

Thursday, June 11th is the first games for 12-13, 14-15 & 16.
